Aircraft Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Due to Crack in Cockpit Window

A jet ferrying the US defense secretary was required to make an unplanned landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was found in the jet's front window, as stated by an announcement which verified that Hegseth was safe.

"The jet landed in accordance with standard procedures and everyone onboard, among them Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," a spokesperson commented in a social media post.

Hegseth was returning from a short visit to Brussels at the time.

This event isn't the initial instance that a US military aircraft ferrying a high-ranking official has encountered equipment failures.

Earlier this year, a US Air Force plane transporting Secretary of State Marco Rubio to the city in Germany was forced to turn back to the US capital after experiencing a mechanical problem.
